Payment Security for Freelancers
When a buyer places an order, we immediately authorize the payment on their card. This ensures the funds are available and gives you confidence to start work.
The payment is captured (charged) only after you deliver and the buyer approves, or automatically after 7 days if they don't respond.
This protects both parties: buyers aren't charged until work is delivered, and freelancers are guaranteed payment for completed work.
Your Payment is Protected
When you pay for an order, we only authorize (block) the funds on your card - you're not charged yet. This appears as a pending transaction in your bank.
The actual charge happens only when:
- You approve the delivered work, or
- 7 days pass after delivery (automatic approval)
If you need to cancel before delivery, the authorization is voided instantly - no refund wait time.
